The total lunar eclipse on my view-finder

DEC 10, 2011 a lunar eclipse is seen on the sky at night. This total eclipse could be visible throughout Oceania, East Asia, some part of Russia. A total lunar eclips occurs when the moon passes the Earth's shadow. The next eclipse on April after 3years. It will be seen in the U.S.
I saw this total lunar eclipse last Saturday night on the 9th floor of dormitory with my roommates. It looks so gorgeous. In spite of this was chilly night, I was excited. I hope next eclipse is coming soon.

McDonald's VS Burger King

Sometimes, I have to have a lunch at hamburger fast food restaurant. I have two chances - McDonald's or Burger King. They are large global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants headquartered in the United States. They sell hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken, french fries, breakfast items, soft drinks, shakes and desserts. They serve foods that have equal tastes anywhere and fast.
Despite their similarities, McDonald's and Burger King are very different. McDonald's has special lunch time menu. It is sold at less than 30% of original price. You can save money! But Burger King has a popular sandwich that was designed to give the customer a lager product with better value than competitors. It named Whopper. And McDonald's provide a service that drive-thru service. I can order and take out to go in my car.
I prefer McDonald's to Burger King. First, McDonald's often provide free coupons. And BigMac is cheaper than Whopper. Second, I can order in my home just calling. It can be delivered. For these reasons I prefer McDonald's.

Tokyo subway systems more complex than Seoul's ;(

There are two cities. Seoul and Tokyo - I have lived in seoul for 27 years. Last summer, I visited Tokyo in Japan for a week. I think two cities do not have only several same things, but also many different things.
There are many reasons why Tokyo seems like Seoul. Both cities are a large capital city of each country. They have central government buildings and important roles. There are a lot of conferences and forums first. When honored persons like presidents of other countries are coming, they often have a meeting at these cities. They have very complex subway system too. Seoul has well over 8 million trips daily on the system's thirteen lines. Tokyo has more larger system. The entire network of Tokyo Metro system has over 274stations and 13lines.
Despite their similarities, these cities are different. If you are on some higher place like a top of the building or top of a mountain, you can see peaks of the mountain. Seoul has 26 mountains. You can go hiking easily and get fresh air. But Tokyo has few mountains. You can see hardly some peaks of mountains. Also Tokyo has a big Dome Stadium called the big egg. Not baseball games, but other sports are hosted in the stadium. They have no worries of weather.
In, conclusion, these are the two cities I love. Seoul is nice city. Tokyo is great city, too. They looks very same, but they give me different feelings. I want to have a chance to go to Tokyo again!

Wearing clothing of their own choice make a person distinct individuality.

It is evident that in our society freedom has a tremendous importance in our lives. Some people think that wearing uniforms is better for students than wearing clothing of their own choice. I however, believe that it is essential for students to wear clothing of their own choice. There are several reasons. First, it gives students to have freedom to wear clothing that they want. Second, to buy uniforms these days needs more money than buying other clothes.

First of all the most important reason for my thinking this way is that students will be able to show their  characteristics diversity. Commonly in society most of students learn same subjects like Korean, math, English and so on. That makes let students be monotonous. Besides, they wear same uniforms. It can be very serious social problem that students have no features. These days, there are many students that do not have any own opinons.

Also, another reason for my thinking this way us that uniforms are more expensive than older days. I agree that uniforms can help to concentrate on their studies better and not spend time thinking about what they should wear to school the next day. It sounds that we can save money. But these days, uniform prices are so expensive. Even some uniforms are more expensive than a suits. It is ridiculous, don't you think?

Wearing clothing of students' own choice has several good things. I think that it will make the better world.

Uniforms vs. Clothing of own choice

Some high schools require students to wear uniforms. Other allow students to wear clothing of their own choice.

I think wearing uniforms is better for students than waring clothing of their own choice.
First, students can feel peer-pressure and be burdened with the decision of what to wear to school.  Most of people want to be shown nice. But it needs to spend some money. For example, I used to ask my parents to buy clothes so I wouldn't feel like an outcast.

Second, students can concentrate on their studies better and not spend time thinking about what they should wear uniforms because I did not have to decide what to wear every morning. These days, high school students have a lot to do. Having a class in school, taking a class after school at other institute, having a test and test.. that means they have no time to do something without study. Wearing uniforms can save their time.

For these reasons, I think that wearing uniforms is better for students than waring clothing of their own choice.

GyroSwing, @Lotte World

It was very long day. I never forget this day. I was a elementary school student as fifth grade. I'm a leader of the class and I have to lead others. One day, some friends and I decided to go to a theme park in holiday. But I had a problem that I had fear of heights. In fact, I did not want to go there. But I can't stop my friends. Finally everyone agree to go to the theme park without me.
The day was coming, on the other hand I had looked forward to the day. That's because a girl who was my secret love. I thought it can be a great chance to get along with her. I decided to endure all fears when I take rides.
It was the day. We met early in the morning and we took rides and had a good time. I was okay because a ride which I felt very scary was under repair. We had nice lunch and I could have a talk with her several times. It was getting dark, we were tired and made a decision to go back home. Suddenly, one of my friend said to us that a ride was working. The ride was the ride that I did not want to take. I had to make a decision and I could see a girl who was my secret love. I took the ride with loud shouting and I was totally exhausted. I made it and I was so proud of me.
After the holiday, a message was on my school desk. I read it and I surprised. That's because the massage was from her!

Kyoto Trip, JAN 2011
It was very quiet morning. Pour raining just stopped few minutes ago. I can't hear not only traffic sounds but also foot steps. It was 2nd morning that my Japan trip in Kyoto. I got up quite early to hurry to go to Kyoto. My hotel was in Osaka and It took an hour to Kyoto by the train. When I made first step on Arashiyama(Kyoto), I thought it would be very crowded there but I can't hardly see people. I assumed that's because I got there so early. In spite of it was winter day, I didn't feel it was cold. It was extremely nice day to go around somewhere. Beside, I could smell fragrance of nature. Kyoto has a lot of nice places to go and you can go easily with bus. The Kyoto bus system is really comfortable to go a lot of places. If you have a day free bus ticket, you can go easily all spot with buses. My best spot in Kyoto was Kinkakuji(金閣寺-금각사). It was so gorgeous temple that was the building with gold skin. It was totally beautiful. (You can see the top of the picture.)  There were so many place to have good foods. I can remember a dinner in Kyoto that was curry rice with raw egg. It was very famous menu and I ate whole thing. It was really good. During the trip in Kyoto, I was happy. I felt fine. Because people was really kind. When I was lost my way, people guided me to place that I want to go. I think that I never forget my first trip alone in Kyoto.

Vancouver Winter Olympic, 2010

One person that I want to admire or respect is Yu-na Kim, the great figure skater. She is 21 years old. She was born in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Some people just think that she has a great talent. I however, think not only she has a great talent for skating but also she has some other reasons.

First of all, She practices times out of her mind. When she was young, she always go to ice rink to practice every day. In fact, she wanted to hang around with friends. But she should prepare a championship. Time passed, She became the first female skater to win the Olympic Games, the World Championships, the Four Continents Championships and the Grand Prix Final. The hard training makes her the queen of figure skating.

Also, she never give up the skating in spite of a lot of problems. In 2003, she was injured with her ankle.
Because of that, she almost decided to give up the skating. Despite this situation she made it as Korean National Champion and she made up her mind to challenge her dream that she really want. She says that if you want it seriously, the dreams come true.

Finally, she is a good donator. When she trained in Korea, the ice rink where she practice was so old and it had very tough environment. She knows that training figure skating conditions in Korea is very poor so she have contributed to make better environment for young skaters.
